System Equipment
CM (Call Manager)
is the control center of the system. Each single
system can provide 1000 subscriber and 300 trunk
connections. When the connections are beyond the
system capacity, the technology of trunking
multiple CMs can be applied to support subscriber
connections in large scale.

- Address Analysis: When
calling an end-point from the calling endpoint
using the alias address of the called, CM
fulfils the conversion of the alias address into
the call signaling channel transmission address.
- Subscriber Management:
Control the number of subscriber ends permitted
to be simultaneously connected to the network;
reject calls; and manage bandwidth.
Process Control: Call receiving control, call
transfer control, etc.
- Ticket Generation: CM
generates detailed records of subscriber¡¯s
calls.
- Network Management
Maintenance: Interfaces to network management
equipment are available; can realize software
upgrade, data configuration, alarm function and
dynamic data monitor through network management.

NMS (Network
Manager System) is the management
center of the system. It leverages Web
technologies to provide graphic management
interfaces and the system administrator can
realize management of CM, DT, AT, AS, IVR and SPT
in the system from any point of the network.

Equipment
Management

- Eight status
information fields are available to clearly
display information including network equipment
type, MAC address, IP address and equipment
status.
- Equipment can be
added to the system without non-local
commissioning at the opposite end. The added
equipment can be found in the local place after
it is connected to the network, and other
operations on the equipment will be supported,
such as addition, modification or deletion of
the equipment.
Equipment
Configuration:
- The five configuration
information fields respectively support detailed
parameter configuration of the network
equipment, including equipment name
configuration, automatic and manual
configuration of IP address.
- Network equipment
maintenance operations, such as software reset,
standby/active switching, software upgrade,
password authentication.
System Configuration
- Internal system
subscriber and external trunk numbering
programs are set.
- To facilitate
subscriber management, IBX2000 system can
flexibly set different service periods and
classes of barred calls for various
extensions, and detail the management of each
phone set by each time period.
Service Management
- The trunk line
management solution provides subscribers with
flexible, simple and convenient trunk group,
trunk router and successive trunk selection
group
- Display of
extension¡¯s working status, customization of
voice mail service for each extension;
extension addition or deletion; modification
of extension properties.
- All valid
extensions in the system can be set as ¡°Manual
Exchanges¡± to provide crossregion manual
exchange services.
- The system provides
detailed call records and permits tracking of
utilization of the telephone system specific
to each subscriber/call.
Alarm Management
The alarm management
function supports monitoring of working status of
system equipment on the network from time to time.
The simple representations and the wide range of
alarm parameters facilitate subscribers to judge
the operating status of the network equipment and
to generate equipment operating status log.
Performance
Management
- Optimize the
network bandwidth and display the use of the
bandwidth.
- Check each
performance test point to confirm that it is
in normal operation; sum up all performance
data reported by CM.
